For the first time, a contingent of partially-blind students from Netravidyalaya had took part in the Parade, taken out on the occasion of 70th anniversary of National cadet corps(NCC).
Air Commodore Sriman N N Reddy (Deputy Director General of NCC) appreciated the students for the grit and determination with which these students kept pace with the rest of contingents and was indeed commendable.
He also said that their turnout and marchpast were praiseworthy. It is a matter of national pride that despite their personal problems they are struggling with, these children are being inculcated with patriotism and are keen to be part of National Celebrations.
He wished these tenacious students success in all their future endeavors.
