With the divine blessings of HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji, the Nethra Vidyalaya Junior College for Visually Challenged was formally opened on 26th May at Visakhapatnam. Swamiji’s gracious presence and inspiring words filled the atmosphere with spiritual strength and purpose, blessing this new beginning dedicated to empowering blind students through inclusive higher education.
Following the opening, the inaugural function of the Junior College was held on 16th June in the presence of the Tech Mahindra Foundation team, esteemed donors, committee members, and the staff of both the school and college. The newly admitted 28 junior college students and their parents also participated in the celebrations, marking the beginning of their academic journey with hope and confidence.
The event was a beautiful blend of gratitude, commitment, and shared vision for a brighter future. Everyone present acknowledged the significant step this college represents in building independence and opportunities for visually challenged youth.
With Swamiji’s continued guidance, the college is progressing well in all aspects—academics, infrastructure, and student development.
