A contingent of partially visually challenged students of Netra Vidyalaya of Jeeyar Educational Trust also took part in the parade. Participating in the parade they have saluted the Guest of honor, Chief guest Air Marshal J Chalapati, NCC Directorate Andhra Pradesh-Telangana Commander N.N. Reddy, and others personnel.

A Unique feature was the inclusion of a contingent of 41 visually challenged students from NetraVidyalaya Junior. & Degree College for the Blind, Affiliated to Board of Intermediate & OsmaniaUniversity.

The grit and determination with which the Netrastudents kept pace with the rest of the contingents was indeed commendable. Their turn out and march past were praise worthy. It is a matter of National pride that despite their personal problems, these children are being inculcated with patriotism and keen to be part of National Celebrations.

Netra contingent has once again proved that their ears have eyes and they are cannot be considered as blind. They were again appreciated by the NCC personnel for the beautiful parade Netra students have presented. The team was awarded a special prize for the astonishing skills Netra students have shown during the parade.
