Netra Vidyalaya students performed ‘Paada Puja’ to HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji at JIVA Campus, auditorium in the evening on 11/02/2017. This is a student’s devotional and conventional annual worship performed according to Vedic tradition before the public examinations. There is an incredible gift and the sacred secret in the Pada Pooja ceremony. Students in the paada puja thaw into a deep mood of gratitude and devotion, and obtain the gorgeous return flow of divine compassion. To the spiritual aspirant, the guru’s feet are the channel of divine grace. Paadapuja performance is the student’s humbleness and faithfulness towards swamiji.
Most of students joined the Netra Vidyalaya College in Junior Intermediate. They had continued their education for 5 years, completed final year degree with faith and devotion towards Swamiji. Entered the system as a child became a true citizen, possessed a degree with a position and leaving the college is an ineffable pain. In the program, students expressed their love and gratitude to the beloved Acharya for His gracious support and encouragement.Later HH Swamiji gave his mangalasasanam to students, lecturers and staff. Swamiji greeted individually the outstanding students who secured winner prizes in sports and cultural activities at university and national levels. He also informed the final year students to treat the ashram and college as their home and visit at any time whenever they feel essential or comfortable.
HH Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji and HH Devanatha Swamiji also graced the occasion. They also blessed the students, lecturers and staff with Mangalasasanam.
Jeeyar Gurukulam students also attended to the auspicious program along with SSC students, Shadnagar division who were then undergoing special coaching classes at JIVA campus.
