The 75th Annual National Independence Day celebrations were held at the JIVA Campus with glory and patriotism.It was graced by Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami ji, Sri Sri Sri Ahobila Jeeyar Swami ji, Sri Sri Sri Devanatha Jeeyar Swamiji, Sriman Ranga Ramanujacharya Swami ji, Sriman Krishnamacharya Swami ji, JIMS Director Dr.Naveen Pawaskar ji, JIMS College Principal Dr. Nimai Chandra Dhole ji along with Netra Vidyalaya Committee President Sriman Vijay Kumar and Netra Vidyalaya Vice Prinicipal Sriman Srinivas on the dais.
After the unfurling of the National flag by HH Swami ji, the program began with the singing of the national anthem by our Netra Vidyalayam girl students.
B.Com first year student Mr. Naresh impressed everyone with his excellent speech in English on Independence Day.After that cultural programs are followed by JIVA Gurukulam Students and JIMS college students with patriotic songs and dances.
After Netra Vidyalaya vice principal Sriman Srinivas delivered his message. JIMS Director Dr. Naveen gave his message quoting that how our forefathers and our fathers fought for the nation that resulted in todayâs sophisticated well-formed democratic nation.
JIMS College Principal Dr. Dhole addressed, saying that it is the right time to participate in precise developing aspects to strengthen the nation.
Netra Vidyalayam Committee President Sriman Vijay Kumar in his speech briefed how our nation was oppressed and lootedby the foreign invaders and how we survived to rebuild our nation.
In his Message Sriman Krishnamacharya ji said, how our HH Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swami ji actively participated and led others in freedom fight.
Sriman Ranga Ramamanujacharya Swami ji reminded main qualities of a real patriot. He said that now the nation needs three types of people they are Heroes / warriors, intellectuals and Social Servants. He also reminded how these three qualities are found in HH Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji
In his valuable message HH Sri Devanatha Jeeyar Swami ji said one should always think of and be grateful to three people in our lifetime they are our Mother, Guru and our mother land.
In his message HH Sri Ahobila Jeeyar Swami ji quoted that we have to inculcate good virtues such as morality, righteousness and patriotism through plays and cultural activities which were put into practice earlier by our ancestors and we have to revive that aspect at present.
Finally our HH Chinna Jeeyar Swami ji addressed the gathering and called on everyone to be physically, mentally and intellectually strong and capable for serving our nation.
The whole program was well organised on the podium by Smt. Krishna Kumari with her expressive anchoring.
